Is Apetamin Syrup Safe? Alternative Fast Weight Gain Syrups that Works!

Weight Gain Syrups that can work

as a Substitute for Apetamin Syrup

Hello guys,

I have been planning to do such a post since a lot of time. I did a recent research on the available Apetamin Substitutes. In India, it is quite difficult (or impossible, in my case) to spot Apetamin in the offline stores or pharmacies. Due to which we will have to rely on buying it from online stores. Though you can purchase this way, buying offline – always has a couple of advantages. They are: you can be sure of the expiry date of the drug, you can ask your queries directly to the pharmacist, you can avoid the lag between your ordering and their delivery etc.

All these reasons made me realize why it is such a necessity to look for alternatives to Apetamin that can give the same results! Hence, comes this post for you.

Before the Substitutes, let me tell you a few things about Apetamin. There are some major misconceptions about the Apetamin Syrup. Once I suggested this syrup to someone on Facebook and a guy pops up and says – it can damage your kidneys, it is a steroid etc.

I was having no enough knowledge to counter these allegations, so I decided to take the help from the registered pharmacist in my home 🙂 He scrutinized the ingredients and shared me a few details which I want each of you to know.

Is Apetamin Multivitamin Syrup Safe for Intake?

First of all, let us check the ingredients of the Apetamin Syrup.

Apetamin Composition:

He said me that the Cyproheptadine is an antihistamine which is a drug used especially in the treatment of allergies. Increase in appetite is one among its other side effects.

Lysine is a basic amino acid which is a constituent of most proteins.

Symptoms related to a deficiency in lysine include nausea, fatigue, dizziness, anemia, loss of appetite, and hair loss/low hair growth. So, having sufficient lysine stimulates your appetite.
