To be frank, I am never a morning person. Even though I dream of getting up in the morning and doing things on time, I usually don’t do that. When I say that I am not a morning person I don’t mean waking up at 9 or 10 am or even later. My dream is to get myself wake up early at 6 or 7 am and getting things properly done.
How my usual days are like:
I usually wake up extremely late these days (I dare not to even mention the timings), blame it on my stress levels. I’m trying my best to keep my hopes up and to be stronger.
Set a morning delight! – to make yourself look forward to the next day.
I came across this idea on a random YouTube video and I was surprised to know that it actually works. If you are not a morning person just like me, I suggest you give this remedy a try.
What you got to do is simple. Have something that makes you get up from the bed. Something that is exciting for you to look forward to the next day morning. You can choose any favourite dessert, beverage or whatever you like and set it a staple in your morning routine. For some, a chocolate drink like chocolate, hot cocoa, hot chocolate drink, chocolate smoothie etc. I had a pack of Milo in my pantry which was unopened then. From the next day onwards I took it as a staple and it encourages me to look forward to my cup of Milo!
– Make sure to bring some changes time to time. So that you don’t get bored.
– try to wake up at the same time every day, so that your body gets used to it and your biological clock wakes you up naturally (without an alarm).
