Ginger Tea on an Empty Stomach
Today let us see how to prepare ginger tea for appetite. I have been having more issues of late regarding my appetite and this recipe, though it works, I have been lazy to prepare it every now and then. Hence I searched for an easy recipe and this was surely a win.
Ginger have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and has many health benefits.
You can vary the taste of this tea to your preferences. If you’re someone who likes the flavour of ginger, you can add a long piece of it. Whereas to the contrary, you don’t like the pungeness of ginger you can use a small piece of it.
If you have throat related issues, try adding a pinch of turmeric powder and some pepper powder. You’ll be obviously at ease.
Do not drink too much of ginger tea on a day. As the say goes, too much of anything will be actually bad for you. As it has digestion benefits, you’ll end up with having to go to loo often than before.
Being a natural remedy, it might take some time to show consistent results for improving your health condition. But nevertheless, you’ll start feeling better once you start having it.
I found that it helps me light the appetite or that fire in my stomach and that’s the reason why I am recommending this to you. Everybody’s body is different, and acts differently to the stimulus – so do try it for about 3 days and you should know if it’s working for you or not.
You can use it as a replacement to your tea or coffee if you want. But I suggest you not to, because a cup of milk tea/coffee will have more calories to offer you than a cup of ginger tea. Also, if you want to drink this ginger tea more often on a given day – don’t make it strong. A light ginger tea would do and that won’t give you the side effects hopefully.
Also, if you are getting addicted to the taste of it (just like me), instead of having more cups of ginger tea – try lemon tea or mint tea instead.
To make a cup of lemon tea, boil a glass of water. Move it to a cup and add the juice of half a lemon (or as per your liking). Also add some honey to it and have it as such. This is best to have on an empty stomach. And i have even came across some YouTube channels which says that it can make your skintone lighter to some two shades than now. I don’t know if that ACTUALLY works that way. But the benefits for health are guaranteed.
How to Make Ginger Water?
Ginger – 1-inch piece
Honey- 1 tbsp
Water – 1 1/2 cups
Preparation Method of Ginger Tea for boosting Appetite!
Step 1: Boil a cup of water in a saucepan.
Step 2: roughly slice the ginger and boil it for 3-4 minutes or reduce the water to one cup by heating continuously.
Step 3: Add honey to a serving cup and pour the ginger boiled water after sieving.
Step 4: Mix well and serve. You can add some lime juice to this tea if you wish to.
I don’t know how others make their cup of ginger tea, but I prefer to use 1 1/2 cups of water in my recipe and then reduce it on medium flame along with the pieces of ginger so that the benefits of the ginger are better absorbed by the water. It won’t take much time. Just leave it on the flame and do your other works side by side, as it doesn’t require much attention. Once the water has reduced to a cup, give it a nice stir and remove from the flame.
That’sit. Your ginger tea is ready to increase your appetite. Have it as the first thing in the morning and it is going to help I guess. I am starting this tea from today. Will update in a few days.
