How to use Potatoes for Weight Gain?
In one of my 7-day weight gain challenge ideas post, I have mentioned this amazing recipe for weight gain. Since I always prepare it when I am so so hungry, I usually do not spare time for myself to click pictures. You must have thought do potatoes make you gain weight or not! Actually, it does.
Potatoes are extremely popular for its weight gaining properties. I have heard real life testimonials from people, who have extensively used potatoes for weight gain and have ultimately gained a healthy weight.
100 grams of potatoes contain 77 calories! So give them a green signal to your daily diet for effective results on weight gain. This time, I took some time to spend on video making and a photo shoot. Hence this post along with the recipe.
For an extra benefit, pair it with some toasted bread or use it as a stuffing to your sandwich, along with some Mayonnaise, garlic dip, ketchup, chicken etc. Choose the other ingredients based on your liking and taste preference, along with your budget.
Alternatively, you can also use it as a stuff in a chapati roll or other flatbreads you prefer.
You can choose any cheese of your choice. I used mozeralla because that’s the one I like the most. You can also choose processed cheese, cheddar cheese etc. Also, there’s no need that you cook the cheese.
You can make the Omlette and put in some cheese and pop in your microwave until the cheese melts completely as per your liking. It’s all your preference.
Do try to modify the recipe as per your taste. You can add other veggies like thinly shredded cabbage, carrots, or mushrooms, olives, little tofu cubes, paneer etc, if you want. For non vegetarian people, you can prefer to use cooked chicken pieces.

Delicious Potato Cheese Omelette Recipe!
- Eggs- 2 or 3
- Pepper or paprika powder – as needed
- Potato- 1 medium
- Oil or butter- 2 tbsp
- Veggies/Chicken – Optional

How to Prepare Easy Weight Gain Cheese Omlette:
Step 1: Wash and peel the potatoes. Grate them into a deep dish.
(Some people used to remove the water content out of it, by squeezing it in their hand. I prefer not to doing that)
Once you have grated the potatoes, start doing the other things immediately. Otherwise the water will ooze out of the potatoes and the color of the potatoes will turn to black.
Step 2: Add 2 or 3 eggs into it, add cheese, salt, pepper and you can also use cilantro or parsley or even a pinch of oregano into it.
Step 3: Heat a pan, and add some oil or butter. When that’s hot, pour the egg mixture into it and spread evenly.
Step 4: Keep on low flame and cover the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip the Omlette over and cook for 2 minutes again.
Step 5: Serve hot with some tomato ketchup and a sprinkle of cheese.
The cheese will melt over the warm omlette and will taste amazing.
